Where can I subscribe?
You go to our headoffice situated in Corso Turati 15/H in Turin. The agency is open from Monday to Friday, 9.00 to 17.00. You can use lines 4, 16 and 63 to come to our agency. It is also possible to subscribe in Aura Agency, Corso Cairoli 32 in Turin.
What are the necessary documents?
You have to bring your driving licence, your ID card or your passport and also your fiscal code.
If you come from abroad and you have a foreign Country driving licence, you also have to bring an international licence with it.

When can i use the service?
After the acceptation of your subscription in our head office, it's on average two working days after the demand.
Is there someone who can explain the service to me?
CarCityClub gives you a guide with all the explanations useful to the service. The staff is present to supply other informations, too.
How do the payments are made?
Payments are made by ATM card and charge on the bank account (it's necessary the IBAN code), or by credit card.
Are there any supplementary costs other than what you write on this website?
No, there are only the costs present on the website, and they include VAT and petrol.

Subscription and costs
SUBSCRIPTION
How much time does the subscription last?
Your subscription lasts one year after the registration.
What are the towns where i can use my subscription?
You can use your subscription in all towns where CarCityClub is present. To use the service in other towns, you have to activate "additional towns" option.
I want to use Van Sharing: do i have to take out another subscription?
No, your Car sharing subscription let you use Van sharing. without any additional costs.
How can I do to renew my subscription?
The renewal is automatic. If you want to stop it, you have to prevent us at least 30 days before the term..RATES
When i use the car, I have to pay the hourly and mileage costs?
Yes, you have to pay both of them, because usage cost is the sum of the two.
If I do a trip of 1000km with a Panda, I have to pay € 0.35 per kilometre?
No, the kilometres cost is reckoned in the following way:
- The 100th kilometres are € 0.72 per kilometre
- The 200 following are € 0.55 per kilometre
- The other 700 kilometres are € 0.45 per kilometre
How much does the service usage in a town outside Piedmont region cost to me?
The usage cost is fixed by the town where you want to drive: more information on costs, cars and parkings of the other service providers on www.icscarsharing.it.
Reservations
How can I make my reservation?
You can do it by internet or by phone, 24 hours on 24, precising the parking and the hours of usage.
Do have I to prevent a long time before to make a reservation?
For a better coordination between demands and available cars, you have to reserve as soon as possible. But it's also possible to reserve a few time before (but you are not sure about the avaibility of the car).
What is the minimun duration of a reservation?
You have to reserve at least one hour.
Can I extend my reservation during the utilisation?
Yes, but you have to phone to the Call Center to verify if it’s possible (you will be charged for the time you add).
Can I give back the car before the end? If yes, what will I pay?
Yes, you can return the car in advance: the time you didn't use will be discounted of 50%.
Can I reduce utilisation time or cancel my reservation before the beginning?
Yes, you can but you have to inform the Call Center. If you modify/delete your reservation less than 24 hours before the beginning, you will pay 50% of what you reserved. If you do it with more than 24 hours in advance, you won't pay anything.
And if I return the car late, what will happen?
In case of late, you have to inform the Call Center. If you can’t extend the usage of the service, the delay will be charged to you. In order to guarantee the efficacy of the service, it’s very important to respect the end hours fixed at the reservation. In doubt, it is better to choose a longer reservation.

Cars and parkings
Are the provided cars new? What are the available optionals?
CarCityClub provides cars in perfect conditions: all of them are equipped with airbag, Abs system, air conditioning, radio, winter’s tyre in thermic gum when it’s necessary.
Are you going to add new car models in your fleet?
We study clients’ demands to command other cars in function of their numbers.
Can I give back the car in another parking different from that one I started from?
No, you can’t: cars must return to the starting parking.
If I don’t find my reserved car, what do have I to do?
You have to call the Call Center to know the exact position.
Why aren't there any parkings in my district?
The expansion of parkings’ network is proportional to the service’s development, in order to favour the best integration with the public services of transportation. Each request is valued and saved, in order to create a database that will eventually permit the realization of new parkings.

Rules of usage
Who can drive your cars?
Every registered user can use CarCityClub's cars.
Can I use the car abroad?
Yes, you can. To use it in non European countries (apart from Switzerland), your trips have to be authorized.
Do you have cars for handicapped people?
No, at the time. Possibilities are limited because there aren't cars adapt for all the handicaps. We want to study the matter with some specific associations.
Can I trail a caravan or a trailer with CarCityClub cars?
No, it's not possible.
Can I carry animals?
No, at the time. We are verifying the possibility to adapt some cars for this type of transport.

During the usage
Fuel is included in the price, but what do I have to do if I'm low of petrol?
In case of long trips or when petrol is inferior to ¼ of tank capacity, it's possible to refuel in distributors that have agreements with us. If you don't find this type of distributors, the amount will be payed back to you, by showing us the receipt.
Can I take the car for more than a day?
Yes, but for reservations longer than 72 hours, the head office has to give its agreement.
The available services in CarCityClub municipalities (ZTL, free parking in blue areas…) are also present in others towns?
No, the service changes according to municipalities and concessions could be different.
If, after a violation of the highway code, I have a fine, who pays for it?
Administrative penalties and eventual reduction of licence points are charged to the person who has committed the infraction. So, you have to pay for your fine.
What do I have to do in case of car’s breakdown?
You have to contact the Call Center who will activate the service of road assistance.

Insurance
Are the vehicules insured?
Yes, all the cars are insured by Kasko, that covers the driver, the people on board and the damage to third parties if the subscribed person is at the wheel.
In case of accident caused by me, what do I have to pay?
You don’t have to pay anything if you have subscribed with the “carefree” option included. Otherwise, you have to pay a fine fixed by rules, and the amount changes between € 150.00 and € 1500.00, depending on the damage.
In case of accident, what do I do?
Behaviour rules are the same as with your own car: you have to fill an accident report drawn up by the involved parties (that has to be sent to CarCityClub head office) and to contact our Call Center for an eventual assistance.
In case of theft, what do I do?
You have to contact immediately our Call Center and report it to the police.

Convenience
Can I drive on bus lanes?
Yes, you can do it in CarCityClub municipalities, because with the Car Sharing you have the same advantages of the public services of transportation. It’s possible to go on the bus lanes and reserved streets or drive in ZTLs(area of limited traffic), and use the service even in days with limited circulation of cars too.
Is it true that I can park the car for free? Is it valid everywhere?
The parking is free in restricted parking zone in towns where CarCityClub is present but also in many GTT (Group of Turin transport) parking lots. These advantages are just valid in some towns: we are working to extend our features to other municipalities where our service is present.
What are the other advantages using Car Sharing?
- You don’t have to think about car’s management (for insurance or property tax)
- You don’t have to pay for any expenses of maintenance, cleaning or parking
- You can reserve the car whenever you want and you take it on your own
- You have continuous assistance during the usage
- You pay just for the usage and not for the ownership of the car
Is it true that with CarCityClub I save money?
Yes, with the Car Sharing you have to face variable rates, giving you the exact costs of your trip: using the car becomes a free choice of the consumer, based on the yield between costs and convenience. If we compare car sharing with the average expenses for a property car which cover 5000 kms per year (considering costs for insurance, property tax, petrol, maintenance, parking…), you save more than 35% with Car Sharing, not to talk about the practical and psychological advantages.
And if I cover more than 30000 Kms per year?
In this case, it is obvious that you need your property car! However, car sharing could be a complementary solution with others advantages such as:
- to have a secondary car to drive in limited traffic areas, without paying for parking and going in reserved streets.
- to have an available car in the case yours is not.
- to drive whenever you want a different car.
